Olivia committing $70,000 to Minnesota Main Street Program

(Olivia MN-) The City of Olivia Economic Development Authority has voted to approve committing up to $70,000 to fund the first two years of the Minnesota Main Street Program. They are hoping the MMSP will help revitalize the downtown area.

The Renville County Register says the Olivia Hardware Hank is closing. They are holding a going out of business sale. Owners Don and Karen Theise are retiring. The paper also is reporting H and L Motors in Renville has been sold by Larry and Gary Eckhoff to Robert Persson of Montevideo.
